Matt Germer

Elections Fellow

Matt Germer is an elections fellow for the Governance Program at R Street Institute.

Before joining R Street, Matt was a policy counsel and strategic planner coordinator at Washington State House of Representatives. Here he drafted legislation, developed policy proposals and offered strategic counsel on a variety of legislative matters, including elections, taxes, energy, criminal justice and technology. Prior to that, he was a contracts and operations administrator at Dohr, Inc. where he oversaw the development of a luxury real estate marketing web application and advised senior management on real estate marketing agreements.

He has a BA in political science from the University of California, Los Angeles and a JD from the University of California, Irvine School of Law.

Matt resides in Charlotte, North Carolina.
